Here’s the place to read about what’s new and interesting at Summer NAMM 2013
We can’t be at the show, but we can put you in the know with all the new guitars appearing at Summer NAMM 2013, in Nashville, Tennessee. We will be adding reviews of many of these fine instruments, as soon as we can get our hands on them.
Summer NAMM appears light on acoustic guitars this year, but we will endeavor to feature as many as possible. Details will be added as we get them. Here is what we know so far:
The Guitars
Gibson – 1934 Original Jumbo – vintage recreation to the nth degree.
Yamaha – CGX102 – U.S. debut of this nylon string acoustic-electric guitar with advanced electronics and a modest price.
C.F. Martin – CEO-7 – Martin’s first “slope shoulder” 14-fret 00, a vintagey axe that pays homage to classic 00 designs from that other leading brand.
C.F. Martin – Grand J12-16GTE – Martin’s largest body meets the 16 Series in this mahogany monster of a 12-string, with D-TAR Wave-Length Multi-Source electronics
C.F. Martin – Ed Sheeran signature LX1E – a young star shines ever brighter with this new high-tech, small-bodied, acoustic-electric, with a modest price and impressive specs.
C.F. Martin – 000RS1 – all solid woods at an affordable price, the first small-body offering in Martin’s new series of best bang for the buck guitars.
And that is one man’s word on…
