The English Whisky Company announces new releases
The English Whisky Company opened the St. George’s Distillery in Norfolk, in 2006, the first English whisky distillery in over 100 years. Nearly 2000 casks later, they have produced both peated and unpeated single malt whisky with a variety of finishes.
Yesterday they released “Chapter 7” a single malt finished in rum casks. It will be generally available at 46%, but Fortnum and Mason will be selling an exclusive cask strength version.
The distillery also announced a release from their Founders Cellar range, with the limited return of “Cask No. 0859 – Port cask”, only 210 bottles available, and “Cask No. 0116” – Triple distilled – 160 bottles available.
If you have experience tasting the whiskies from St. George’s Distillery, we would love to know your comments!
