Martin HD-28 (2018) and About Time Too!

The NEW Martin HD-28 (2018) has pre-war looks and forward shifted bracing!

Combined with the High Performance neck

Since the mid-1990s people have said Martin’s Standard Series guitars should have the looks and sound of the Vintage Series guitars, especially those who kept saying, “I’d buy one if it didn’t have the V neck.” Well that is pretty much what has finally happened. So here ya go, Ladies and Gentlemen get your wallets ready!

The written review will follow in time, I am putting out the videos first this year, at least for Winter NAMM.

  1. What Martin has come out with in the last 2 years (2017 and 2018) is giving me a heart attack! Too many guitars, too little time to play them all!!!
I am currently making a completely new bucket list!

Thanks for your reviews (and getting them out so fast). At least I can listen to you play them, even if I don’t get a chance. Looking forward to what you think about the D-42 Purple Martin with Englemann and Katalox!

    1. Why thank you Steve and welcome to One Man’s Guitars, or at least the Comments section. 🙂

I could tell you about the Purple Martin, but you may need to sit down and have an oxygen tank handy. 😉

We and our readers would very much like to hear what YOU think.
